Khepri-12b

Entry for the Dungeon Crawler Jam 2025

Possibly my weakest entry yet, I had to cut a lot of content and just got a barely working crawler.

Still, it highlights the idea I had envisioned for this game: 

Welcome to Khepri-12b, a desolate planet where an intrepid team of "thieves" has come to recover a relic they know little of. You wake up as one of the crew members of the team, alone on the ship while everyone has already gone on the mission. But why have you been left behind and what has happened?

WASDQE/NUMPAD to move

MOVE into objects to interact with them

1-9 to activate inventory items

The game should be able to run solely with the keyboard. You can use the mouse to interact on screen as it's legacy code that I didn't disable, but it should all work with the keyboard alone.

The hacking minigame you will encounter in the game is based on codebreaker/mastermind: You need to find the correct colors in the sequence. Once you enter the required amount of colors, you'll be told if each color is in the right position in the sequence or if it exists in the sequence but is in an incorrect position.
