Post-jam update


Now that the jam is over, I can release an update, fixing a lot of bugs and adding some of the features and tweaks that you all pointed out. Thank you very much to all the people who played the game and left feedback, it really means a lot to me!

Spell(ing) Dungeon 1.03 patch notes:


Streamlined the keyboard-only and typing experience:

- mobs will now be auto-looted on death

- levers can be triggered by typing out "lever"

- game is now started by typing out "play" (no more buttons)

- shop is now opened by typing out "shop" and options are bought through typing as well

- level up bonuses are now selected by typing

Other fixed and improvements:

- minimap is now a lot more zoomed out, actually being useful

- movement buttons now work (but NUMPAD movement should still be preferred)

- you can no longer turn while the shop is open

- fixed an issue with a door you could pass through

- you can now look up/down even in combat

- improved saving system

- fixed floating torches

- fixed the shop on level 3

- you should be able to continue a previous game or start a new one from the main menu

- fixed some mob animations

- mobs won't always first strike you as soon as joining combat. There is now time to actually hit them before they strike
